Konica Minolta won Triple Gold Award of Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme 18/19

The website of Konica Minolta (Hong Kong) is proudly received the Triple Gold Award for the adoption of web accessibility design in our organization which is the highest level of the award in Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme 18/19. We have already received the award in Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme for a third consecutive year. This award recognizes our continuous commitment to promote web accessibility, cater for the needs of various community groups (including people with or without disabilities) and facilitate the access of internet for society at their fingertips.

Through the accessible website, we hope that impaired individuals can integrate themselves into society and hones their capability to work independently. We are not only taking care of everyone’s needs, but also helping to build a harmonious, caring and inclusive society.

About “Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme 18/19”

The new round of the “Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme” is organised by Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC) in 2018. The scheme is co-organised by the Office of Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) while the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) serves as the independent advisor. The previous four rounds of Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme (2013-2016) were jointly organised by the OGCIO and the EOC which is different to the scheme this year. The Scheme provides Gold Award, Silver Award, Friendly Website and Triple Gold Award in website category for successful entrants.
