Konica Minolta wins Outstanding ESG Award 2018 organized by Economic Digest for recognizing its positive impacts in the areas of Environment, Social and Governance (ESG). As a responsible corporate citizen, we are committed to transform business leadership in the areas of social responsibility and sustainability.
The objective of “Outstanding ESG Award” is to encourage and recognize those corporates that implement outstanding sustainability initiatives and fulfill social responsibility to facilitate sustainable long-term growth. The assessment criteria include Environment, Social and Governance.
We hold 6 Values as the essence of our innermost beliefs and we are committed to our philosophy to benefit both our society and customers at large. In terms of environment, our products are designed to be environmental-friendly in different areas such as reusing milk bottles for toner bottles.
Besides, our annual event “Green Concert” raises public awareness toward energy conservation and raises donation for the local charities or green groups. For social aspect, we do care our staff and society. For example, we provide breast-feeding room to staff, offer job opportunity to suitable young people in i-Transform Station. From Environment, Social and Governance, we hope to extend the sustainability mission to our community at the end.
