To achieve sustainability, Konica Minolta Business Solutions (HK) Ltd. aligns the environmental, social and governance (ESG) approaches and efforts with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in order to bring a bright future.
Environmental
Konica Minolta Inc. has formulated Eco Vision 2050 as our long-term environmental action plan, aiming to achieve reduction of CO2 emission by 80% in 2050 compared to 2005 levels. We reduce carbon emission and waste throughout the entire product lifecycle, from product design, production processes, supply chain, as well as daily operations, to protect our environment and deliver a GREEN future.
Social
Konica Minolta cares the community. We connect people with technology, create every possibility with innovation, to achieve Shaping Innovation for People. By the engagements with various charities, and also the universal design achieving barrier-free accessibility and visibility, you and Konica Minolta are stepping to a fair and equal world together.
Governance
To create a sustainable future, our direction and action plan drafted in reference to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (“SDGs”), target to ensure everyone can enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.

We donated different items to local charities to help the grassroot families, to increase their quality of life.

We donated foods to local charities to help the underprivileged families, to reduce their dietary burden.

We care both physical and mental health, also build up the attitude of healthy life to our employees and community.

Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
We provide equal opportunities in workplace regardless of the gender.

Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.
We promote the smart use of energy, to reduce carbon emission from our daily life and operation.

Promoting sustainable economic growth, employment and decent work for all.
We believed all gender and age should enjoy equal pay for equal work, we assist employees to gain job skills and value by offering on-job training.

Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
We bring habits of “Recycling” and “Upcycling” into our workplace, in order to reduce environmental damage, especially the plastic waste. Meanwhile, we increase the awareness about the importance of conservation of architectural heritage.

Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.
We setup procurement policy and scope of work to achieve “Recycle”, “Reuse” and “Reduce”.

Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.
We reduce our carbon footprint during operation and production, we target to reduce 3% of Greenhouse Gas emission compared with previous year.

Conservation and sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems to ensure biodiversity and prevent land degradation.
We support associations to maintain the biodiversity, to help with the development and management of the nature.
SDG16
Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.
